Spring Cleaning

As members of the Centerville Cemetery Board, we would like to thank all who came out to help with the Spring Clean-Up on Saturday, May 17, 2008. The leaves were raked and bagged, about half of the dirt pile was spread throughout the cemetery, filling in holes and ruts and preparing the dirt for seeding. Also, the shed has been given a fresh coat of paint.

We are working to maintain the grounds to the best of our abilities. We currently have a lawn service that comes in and cuts the grass every two weeks. If you have loved ones buried here and plant flowers or place remembrances, all we ask is that you please keep the area in good order.

Long Term Goals

Our goals are:

  1. Verification of lot ownership, including names of deceased and their locations within family plots. For more information click here.
  2. Increase of the working fund for the maintenance of the cemetery. For more information click here.
  3. Additional volunteers or Board Members. For more information click here.
  4. Replacement of fence surrounding the cemetery.
